On January 15, 2010 the Shawnee Police Department filed 21-3504(a)(3) AGG INDECENT LIBERTIES W/CHILD charges against Matt Feyerabend. Matt Feyerabend was a Stormwater Project Manager for the City of Olathe at that time. Within approximately six weeks he was no longer holding his position and the reasons were unannounced.

Since, Matthew Feyerabend agreed to a plea deal that allowed him to be found guilty of a lesser charge, 21-3511: Aggravated indecent solicitation of a child, and receive a sentence of 16 months in the custody of the corrections department.
