Dustin Hilt gets Hard 50 in murder of Keighley Alyea

On July 13th, 2010, Dustin Hilt was handed down the sentence of Life in Prison. He will have no chance of parole for a minimum of 50 years, getting what is called the Hard 50 sentence. Dustin Hilt was also sentenced to a 165-month consecutive sentence for aggravated kidnapping and 61 months for aggravated robbery.
Keighley Alyea disappeared without a trace. Her car was found and her phone had not been used. Her body was found Monday October 5, 2009 in Cass County, Mo. Three arrests were made. One of the charged, Dustin Hilt, is the ex-boyfriend of Keighley Alyea. Dustin Hilt, 18, Joseph Mattox, 21, and Gerald Calbeck, 18, were all charged with first-degree murder, aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnapping in Johnson County court.
Motive and method out now are said to be that his ex-girlfriend, Keighley Alyea, had confronted him for reportedly sleeping with her stepsister. All but Hilt have clean Johnson County records and the charges that Hilt has faced previously had all been dropped by the prosecution.
The body was found in a field near East 235th Street and State Route K just north of Harrisonville on October 5, 2009.

Kansas Youth Pastor charged with Indecent Liberties

On June 14, 2010 a plea agreement was entered into court for Huston to plea Guilty to a Level 5 felony of 21-3503(a)(1) IND LIB W/CHILD TOUCHING. For this he was sentenced to 31 months or 2 yrs 7 months.

Whenever I see a story break on the news like this, I often find myself hoping it just isn’t true. This is no exception. Here, Wayne Huston of Overland Park, Kansas was a youth pastor who, after eight years left Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Overland Park for unspecified reasons in August, is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a 14-yr old girl. The girl’s mother evidently found inappropriate text messages on the girl’s phone.
“None of these incidents happened at this church. They did happen at the girl’s house and at the man’s house,” Officer Jim Weaver said.
Mr. Huston is described as a member of the religious band AwakenUs, their Facebook page describes them as:

Huston is currently being held at the Johnson County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond for Indecent Liberties with a Child.
Zoey Zane killer gets Life w/o Parole

Zoey Zane was a teen porn model. Emily Sander, born in Olathe, was a student at Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kansas.
Much to the family’s surprise, Emily was Zoey.
Today they are both dead.
Isreal Mireles and Emily Saunder were last seen leaving an east El Dorado bar together on the night of November 23, 2007. That would be the last time Sander was seen alive.
Isreal Mireles worked as a waiter in an Italian restaurant in El Dorado. It was a at a motel room next to this restaurant that blood was found in Mireles’ room. Sander’s car was found still parked at the bar and the rental car Mireles was driving was found abandoned on November 27, 2007 in Vernon Tx where he had relatives.
Sander’s body was found six days after her disappearance, on November 29, 50 miles east of El Dorado.
24-year-old Mireles was captured by Mexican Police with his pregnant 16 yo girlfriend in Mexico on December 19, 2007.
The trial for Mireles was held the week of February 8-12, 2010. He was charged with capital murder, rape and aggravated criminal sodomy. He was convicted on February 12, 2010 of rape and capital murder; the aggravated sodomy charge was dropped as part of the capital murder charge. On March 31st, 2010, he was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
