Drugs are Bad

Casey CordellSo, we have all heard it before, but… Drugs Kill. In this instance, we had a high speed chase in a stolen Honda. High speed, running stop signs, flashing red lights until coming into contact with a Kansas City Water services truck. Thankfully the City employee only had minor injuries. The front passenger of the Honda, Christopher Ford, was pronounced dead at the hospital, and I was told they are pulling the second passenger off of life support tonight.

The driver of our topic today is this puke to the left. His name is Casey Cordell. Casey is a convicted felon with a record in Johnson County that dates back to 2003. Charges ranging from Criminal Damage to Cocaine Possession.

Cordell now sits in  Jackson County custody on charges of manslaughter. Unfortunately, if my sources are right, it will be two charges by morning.

Drugs are bad, ummkay.

The Trial of Joseph Mattox

The trial of Joseph Mattox began on Mon 4-4-11. It is expected to last all of this week and into next. Mattox is the last of the three Johnson County men to stand trial for their role in the kidnapping, beating and stabbing death of 18-year-old Keighley Alyea.

This puke is supposed to be the one that beat her with a tire iron. I wonder if he still feels like a “man” locked up. This is the reason to implement the death penalty and faster than it usually takes. Why should the general public foot the bill to keep this trash alive? He didn’t worry about defenseless Keighley.

I am not even going to forward a link to Fox 4′s news article, because it was written so poorly they didn’t even bother to get her name in the right order. Quality journalism there.

Derek Owens Charged with Murder 1 – Laura Coltrane?

Derek Owens is currently sitting in Johnson County lockup charged with First Degree Murder. His Facebook states he is in a relationship with Laura Coltrane. Laura Coltrane, of Olathe, has been found and identified dead.

Olathe Police found Laura Coltrane dead after being called last Friday. Originally classified as a “death investigation”, police upgraded it to a homicide on Saturday and that is when Owens was picked up and booked.

Laura’s MySpace page says:
First and foremost, I would like to meet Jesus. But,if I could meet a famous celebrity it would have to be either Shamar Moore, Lil Wayne, T.O., or David Beckham. They are some of the most beautiful and talented people ALIVE.

Derek and Laura had a discussion back and forth on Facebook about her “frontin’” on him on FB. Well, Mr. Owens, no worries on that happening any time again…

Owens will be in front of a Judge on Tues Feb 22, 2011 on charges of Murder First. Court records show he had Domestic Battery charges dropped against him on Feb 4, 2011.
