Brandon Reed
Today Mr. Reed was transported to his new home in El Dorado. Brandon found himself the subject of a countrywide manhunt at the end of 2008. According to court records Brandon, who has a history of domestic violence, violated a protection order filed by his now ex-wife in early 2008. Lucky for her she got out of an abusive relationship when she did, because his murder victim didn’t.
Christina Osburn, 21, who was pregnant at the time of her slaying was found dead in her Shawnee apartment early Friday, November 28, 2008. Reed was then sought in connection with the crime. His 2002 Pontiac Grand Am took him to Catarina, Texas before he was apparently involved in and ran from an accident that started his car ablaze. Hours after the accident, police received calls of a suspicious looking man hitch-hiking along a dirt road in Catarina. That was the end of his running.
On April 9, 2009, to avoid the death penalty, Reed plead guilty to Capitol Murder and was sentenced to Life in Prison without parole.

i have heard from a shawnee cop that he slit her throat also. the scene was pretty disturbing.

Yes he slit her throat, not only killing Christina but their unborn child. I went to school with him and we were best friends so its really crazy to see him like that. I wish he would have walked away before it got to that. I feel sorrow for both families they both lost loved ones that horrible Thanksgiving!

it doesn’t matter what was made up, the truth is even worse…he slit her throat!!! don’t go defending him, what he did was insain and heartless!

I was his one of his few best friends in High School. He stopped calling me almost a year before the murder. I didn’t know about this until after his conviction. I wish he had sought help from friends and family and I regret not being as best a friend I could have in his time of struggle preceeding these actions.

wow i knew brandon for YEARS we went to church together even bible retreats thats crazy you hang out with someone then you finally know what there like inside once a friend now a foe , and brandon your lucky your in there for life you heartless piece of shit i know plenty people that was lookin for ya and lets say you wouldnt have made it ta jail BITCH

I worked with brandon, knew christina. no one could have seen this. we were all close to them… he hinted that he thought it wasnt his baby, but what made him snap, idk. who can really know. her life was amazing she was a beautiful woman, full of grace. her death is horrible.

I taught Christina all of her high school. He needs to spend life in jail. We were all robbed of a wonderful person. Give no excuses; he knew exactly what he was doing. Now he can spend life away…..
